How can I find the information I need about a product?

To find the information you need, simply go to the product sheet. At the top, you'll find the main characteristics of the product. In the tabs you'll find all the additional information you need, such as product guarantees, technical data, assembly instructions, customer reviews and videos, etc....  What do I do if the product I want is out of stock?

Why are there price differences between inverters?

All I'M Solar products are of the highest quality. The price difference is explained by the power supplied.

Can I install my solar panels on a veranda?

Yes, but I'M Solar does not sell structures. To build your structure, we advise you to call on a boilermaker or carpenter in your area. However, we can supply the panels, inverter, cabinet and accessories. It is also possible to use a simple wooden structure and use the solar panel as a sunshade on your veranda (so there will be no waterproofing). Visit the section to find all the installation options and associated manuals.

Can I install my solar panels on the ground or on a roof?

Yes, I'M Solar supplies Carport fastening systems for floors and roofs, so you can install your solar panels wherever you like. Have you seen the "Inspiration" section of our site? There you'll find all the installation options and associated manuals.

Can I install my solar panels on my garage?

Yes, I'M Solar can supply you with the panels and fixings. What's more, we have a simulator that allows you to determine your solar kit according to the size of your garage. Have you tried it out? It will give you a better understanding of the choice of components and make assembly much easier. We also advise you to visit the "Inspiration" section of our site, where you'll find all the installation options and associated manuals.

How can I determine the number of panels I need for my consumption?

To help you determine the number of panels you need for your consumption, we recommend you use the I'M Solar simulator.

First of all, create an online account on our website. You can then use the simulator to calculate the likely power of the solar panels depending on your roof, and thus determine the possible savings in relation to your home's consumption in kWh/year.

Do I need to fit electrical protection?

Electrical protection boxes are compulsory. In the event of a lightning strike, power surge or short circuit, you run the risk of setting fire to your electricity meter and therefore your house. That's why it's essential to install them.

I can't find the product I'm looking for. What should I do?

To make it easier for you to find what you're looking for, we've placed a search engine in the top right-hand corner of every page on the site, which you can use to "search for a product or brand".

All you have to do is enter the name of the article, the brand and the reference number you are looking for in this field and you will be shown a list of results corresponding to your search.

What is the difference between polycrystalline and monocrystalline solar panels?

Monocrystalline cells are ideal if the home has low light levels and diffuse radiation (low-angled sun, non-direct radiation, generally low-light weather).

If, on the other hand, there is a lot of sunshine, with direct radiation and wide variations in temperature (ideal conditions for Italy, for example), polycrystalline cells are the best option. You can produce up to 5% more electricity with these cells in these conditions.

What's the difference between 12, 24 and 36 volt solar panels?

The output voltage of solar panels is not linked to the battery voltage because you put a regulator between the battery and the panel. This regulator converts the panel voltage into 12, 24 or 36 volts. You can find our regulators by typing victron regulator in the search bar.

What are our quality commitments?

I'M SOLAR has its own research and development laboratory, and our technical teams carry out tests in extreme conditions (roof, tiles, ground, shade, etc.) to ensure optimum quality.
