FAQ : Delivery and returns

FAQ : Delivery and returns

1. How do I determine the cost of transport?

At I'M Solar, delivery is free to all European countries except Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

2. Which delivery zones?

We deliver anywhere in Europe, particularly France, Belgium and Germany. Tracking is ensured by a tracking number sent as soon as your order is dispatched.

3. Can I have my parcel delivered to an address other than my billing address?

It is possible to have your parcel delivered to an address other than your billing address. To do this, simply enter a new address in the "My account" section, then "My addresses" and add a delivery address.

When you place your order, you will then select a billing address and a delivery address.

4. What happens if I am absent at the time of delivery?

If you have chosen UPS as your carrier, the delivery person will come to your home a second time, usually the next day. If you are absent a second time, UPS will drop off the package at the nearest approved centre (tobacconist's, newsagent's, etc.). You can find the collection address using the tracking number sent by I'M SOLAR.

If you have chosen DACHSER as your carrier, the delivery person will always contact you to arrange delivery. If he is unable to contact you, the goods will be held pending confirmation or return from you.

5. Are there any additional delivery charges?

There are no additional costs. No unpleasant surprises, everything is included.

Exception in Switzerland and the UK: the customer must pay the carriage costs and VAT on receipt. At the time of ordering, they will only pay the price excluding VAT. Customs duties will be automatically calculated in the transport costs.

6. Why is it imperative to check the goods with the carrier?

It is imperative to check the goods in the presence of the driver as we insure your orders for 100% of their value. If any breakage occurs during transport, you must notify the driver directly. From then on, we can refund or exchange the part free of charge. If you do not notify the driver of the breakage, the insurance company will consider that you are the one who may have broken the goods (mishandling, dropping on your part, etc.).
